Our grandniece Claire got to spend a few days of her spring break here in Portland.
She flew up from California on Wednesday.
She was here to spend time with Courtney for the most part but I got to do a little shopping for fabric and we built her a quilt to take home with her.
Here is the fabric pallette she chose.
I had her cutting out the squares for the quilt top.
I had her cutting out the squares for the quilt top.
Here she is laying out the squares in the pattern she decided on.
I didn't get a photo of it finished but it turned out really cute.
We got to take her to our favorite lunch place.

nice :) you should get Claire to take a picture of her quilt and email it to you, it looks super cute.
I am a bit jealous of your chino saigon trip. We'll have to go next time Rowan and I are in town eh :D Hopefully by that time you'll also have fired up your grill for the season some homemade burgers in the front yard sounds like a good time :) ooh! we could even make 'em kiwi burgers! Yes! Good plan!
