What a girl!
Our super sweet and smart granddaughter, Genevieve, turned 8 last Friday.
According to the birthday tradition, the birthday kid gets a meal out with us. She decided she wanted to go to Elmer's.
Deciding is the hardest. Pancakes,whipped cream and sprinkles with a side of bacon. Sounds like a celebration to me.
Followed by a dish of ice-cream with more whipped cream and sprinkles :0)
As a second grader her reading skills are really good. She loves reading! Which makes this Gramma happy.
The party crowd on Friday with a cake made by the kids. Super yummy.
The celebration continued on Sunday
Har and I went and picked up the gang and hauled them to our house to party some more.
Due to the flu going through their house on Friday we didn't all go over or have them all over to our place so we stretched out the celebrating.... THIS MUCH!!!
It was great to have a time that Krystle, Hayden and Cameron could be there too.
Garrett got a couple of gifts too. A pair of binoculars to play safari guy and Krystle got a Dracula guy from the movie Hotel Transylvania, which these kids love!
