The BIG three year old helper
Both Henry and Anabelle love helping out in the kitchen. They each have an apron that I sewed for them. Bellie helped her momma make scones on the Saturday afternoon we were there.

Birthday cupcakes in the works
Cherise had to make the cookies that were going to adorn the fresh strawberry cupcakes the day before the party. Krystle was available to transfer them to the cooling racks. They were then dipped in white chocolate and sprinkles with pixie dust :0)
Anabelle woke up to a birthday banner and seat cover.
She all of a sudden looks so grown up!
Cherise baked the cupcakes and piped the frosting on them. Anabelle helped with the sprinkles.
PARTY AT THE POOL
Cherise called and rented a covered picnic area that was very close to both the children's play area and the lap swim pool. We'd been at the Aquatic Park years ago when Henry turned one year old. Lyssa and Logan and their kids came that time.
Anabelle's grampa, Steve and her aunt, uncle and cousins from LaGrande joined us.
Grampa's Har and Steve visited in the shade.
After cupcakes and presents it was time for us to head back to Portland. The birthday girl and her family had a couple of stops before they headed home.
Cherise sent this picture of the pooped party princess from her phone. It came in while we were driving in the gorge.
Thank heavens for air conditioning :0)
We're also thankful that we live close enough to be a part of these types of celebrations.
