My summer sweeties
Genevieve and Danika were modeling their new summer tops. They can wear them at the start of school too. We haven't gone anywhere in particular yet this summer but I sure enjoy hanging out with these guys here at home.
Belated Independence Day
I bought a few what-nots to light on the day of the 4th. The kids weren't with us that day so I saved the stuff for when they were here. They've been asking and asking when we'd set them off, so Thursday morning was it. With a few colored smoke bombs and some snakes and some surprisingly loud pop-its and we celebrated America's Independence again.
Aptly named
Little Miss Anabelle went shoe shopping for the first time and found the perfect thing for the trip to Michigan. Her "teeny toes" brand gold sandals will be ideal for a day at the beach or an evening by a bonfire. Don't forget the sunscreen and the bug spray!
Early take-off
Anabelle and I both look a little bit blurry eyed for having gotten up at 4:30 a.m. We were out of the house and on our way to the airport about 5. Henry has the coolest backpack that is just his size for carrying the essentials for his enjoyment on the plane.
E-tickets printed and bags checked.
Flight is on time... gate D5.
Lots of switchbacks getting to the security checkpoint.
Bon Voyage!
The made through and on to the gate.
And even sent a photo of the kids stretching their legs during their lay-over.
One more airplane ride and then it's destination "Cousins, Aunts, Uncles and Muumuu!"
