Three big chickens
One hot afternoon this week the kids were playing on the porch. Wyatt, Genevieve and Danika were behind the open porch door because they were being terrorized...
by their little brother with a garden hose. He made quite a few puddles on the porch but had a blast doing it.
Movin' it to the yard
They took turns spraying themselves. It's a lot more peaceful that way.
I remember our kids doing this many years ago. They ran through the sprinkler out there too.
Simple joys of childhood hey?
This photo was a bit blurry but I love the expression on Wyatt's face.
Thanks Aunty Lyssa!
Thank you for getting these hats and bonnets on your trip to Manassas!
The kids look like Oregon Trail pioneers now.
Wyatt and Genevieve were trying to tell Danika that people that really wore these type of hats didn't smile for pictures. She and Garrett didn't quite understand that.
Genevieve wants to wear hers to the park the next time we go. I thought it would be nice to have them wear them out to Sauvie Island when we go to pick fruit and flowers.

Nice! Good fun, good hats, and hilariously historically "accurate" kids ;)
