In a matter of months
I can hardly believe how much Hayden has changed over the summer. He went from a young kid to a college man overnight. We finally got a photo for our graduation wall. Of course he doesn't like it but then again who really likes their high school graduation picture?
Evie Baby
We took the gang to Panda Express after church. Evie spent a good deal of time teething on the edge of the table. I'm sure the cool marble felt good on her gums.
Harlan's sister Iris gave us a call this afternoon to let us know they were passing through town. She and Ivan were over at Har's brother Howard's house. Alyssa volunteered to go and get Wyatt, Genevieve and Danika if we would take Evie visiting with us. We bundled her up and walked over there.
Miss Evelyn Amelia
meets the Aunt Farm
Having a 10 1/2 month old sweetie around is better than watching tv. She interacted with each aunt and uncle and charmed us all. I think she looks a lot like her momma in the picture with Iris (above L). She happily played with Howard's bin of toys.
Great Uncle!
This was the second time she saw Howard. She first met him when Alyssa and she were in Barnes and Noble one day and she warmed right up to him. Howard, of course, had her playing with something technical (an old camera).
She played and babbled and babbled and played.
Then we headed home.
She fell asleep almost as soon as Alyssa took her from Harlan's arms.
We had forgotten that she didn't have a nap this afternoon.
She sure was in a good mood for being so tired.
And everyone enjoyed meeting her.
