If a handwriting expert looked at our signatures they would wonder how we have been together for all of these years. I think maybe it's because of those differences that we still have a "spark".
In any case. These are our signed ballots and we voted.
Our helpers
Wyatt and Danika deposited Harlan and my ballots into the "official ballot box" for us. We got to talk a little about the election and the process. I think it's important to teach the kids how to be involved in these privileges that we have as American citizens.
Poor pumpkin :o(
We walked out the door to head to school and saw that we had a reminder to vote on our door. Several of our Halloween pumpkins couldn't stand up the pressure of this election and have fallen apart.
Time to make up your mind
This tree behind Fred Meyer is one I've photographer before. It can't make up its mind about whether it's a red maple, yellow maple or orange maple. Part of it hasn't even decided if it's going to change color yet. I think it's a perfect depiction of the confused voter.
First time voters
This is Courtney and Hayden's first presidential election since they registered to vote.
My babies are all grown up and voting!
Our drop off is the local library.
Way to go guys!
I long for the good ole days
It seems like the Clinton vs Dole campaign was a lot less acrimonious than this year's election. Maybe it's because we didn't have the instant media that we do now with Facebook and Twitter and text messages and automated phone calling and ...
I do know that come tomorrow, whoever is elected will be our president for the next 4 years.
But God will still be in His heaven and we will still have work to do.
It's by design that we live where we do and in the time that we do.
"Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father’s Son, will be with us in truth and love." 2 John1:3
