Three years old already!
Garrett has a new blanket to honor his Flag Day birthday.
He turned 3 today. He spent last night with Har and me and the kids and it was so fun to celebrate the whole day long with him.
Pre-birthday running around
We got to go to Fred Meyer to visit Miss Lisa! We also went over to Just 4 Kids in the Hollywood District before we had to head up to the school to pick up the kids.
We got up there a few minutes early so we stopped by Danika's class and Garrett had snacks with them.
The school year is winding down.
Somebody was winding up!
He had me help him put on this apron as a cape. He was quite animated in his "to the rescue!" wind up.
It was finally bedtime and he put on his new pj's that we got at Just 4 Kids. He snuggled down under his new Gramma blankie.
There were a couple of minutes of silliness before he was really ready to sleep. It sure didn't take long for him to zonk out once the lights were turned out and quiet music was playing.
Birthday celebrations
At breakfast the little Winney the Pooh musical piano was used over and over to sing "Happy Birthday". After days of him saying "Happy Birthday to Garrett" this time he came out with "Happy Birthday to Danika! YAY!" Cute guy.

Courtney took him to Toys R Us to get a birthday crown and balloon. She also let him pick out a couple presents that he was actually surprised to open at his party this evening.
He loves watching the activity down on the ice rink, even from the food court two stories above it.
A party at home
Today was the official move back home day for all the kids. Having it coincide with Garrett's birthday was a bonus. I got them goofy glasses and necklaces. Doesn't Mr 4th grader look thrilled with the whole thing?!
Joylynn was a happy momma to have all her chicks back where they belong.
Even the little silly one.
He is such a precious little guy. We love him to the moon and back over and over :)

What a huggable, lovable munchkin! looks like Mr.Gar-bear had a fun and exciting birthday :) It's hard to be so far away on these special days but birthday blogs definitely ease the hardship ;) great post mom
