Cherise sent me this picture of the kids at the beach. It's so sunny and beautiful there. I'm glad the package arrived and they can be using their new blanket.

Kids' creations

Wyatt got busy with his legos and made an army of guys. Led by some big creature that he got for Christmas. He had me send this picture to his teacher's email so he could share his work with the class without bringing the whole thing in to the school. He has a name and function for each of them. He's got quite the imagination!

Danika got in the van the other day and announced that she didn't need an after school snack as she had made a cereal necklace to eat. Then she wanted me to take a picture of her with her fun Fruit Loop craft.

Summer is coming

These fabrics are going to become summer weight quilts for Hayden and Cameron. Their flannel ones will be put in storage until the cool weather comes again. 

I love this palette of fabrics. Somehow they make me think of picnics and clothes drying on the line in the summer sun. Photos of the finished project will be posted :0)
