Our IKEA stop
Cherise and Kiel had a few things they needed from Ikea. So the evening before we were headed their way we went out to Cascade Station. What is a stop at Ikea without enjoying a plate of Swedish meatballs? It was supper time so we indulged. YUM!
This little dresser was on the list for Henry. Hayden had great fun riding on the shopping cart. Those warehouse stores are good for that sort of thing.
Little Handy-man
As you probably know Ikea furniture comes unassembled. So Cherise and Henry teamed up to build the new dresser. Hens is quite handy around the house and is such an enthusiastic helper.
He posed with his finished work, so Anabelle needed to too.
It goes perfectly with his Ikea bunk bed! He quickly loaded it up with his pants and shirts and pjs.
Good work, Henry!
Miss A'belle got a new bed
In SanDiego the kids shared a room so Anabelle was on the bottom bunk. In the new house she has a room with her toys and books and clothes and now a new big girl bed of her own.
It is much more suited to her than the one that was in this room that will soon be Harlan's and mine.
