Tri-cities - third time's a charm :)

Saturday projects
While everyone else was finishing their breakfast I took an early morning walk around the perimeter of the orchard.
I love this bird house down along the river! I must have snapped a half dozen pictures of it. The only thing to top this would be to see a bird sitting on it.
Hanging out at the house

Harlan, Kiel and Cherise ran to town to get supplies for the weekend's projects. While they were gone a neighbor from over the hill stopped by to say hello and to welcome the kids to the neighborhood.
He brought a gift! He did this picture of the deer, trees and mountains on leather that he also tooled. It is beautiful. I hung it on a nail near the entry but I think it is going to end up in the office.
Back with paint and other goodies
Both of the kid's rooms got a new standing lamp. Cherise mixed and matched the shades to make a boy's lamp and a girl's lamp. Awesome!
Ladders and little helpers

Anabelle was supervising the masking off of the areas that weren't getting painted.

Henry wanted to help in every area. This was the same day that he helped Cherise build his dresser. He was painting whenever there was an area that called for a short person.
Then he did KP

Henry cracked me up wanting to load the dishwasher. He was also listening to an iPod while he did it. See the green earbuds? What a boy!
Anabelle was entertained for the moment by Winnie the Pooh :)
Everybody did ladder duty
Barefoot, prenant and up on a ladder :O She isn't at that awkward ungainly stage, thank goodness.

Har and Kiel did the highest work. I'm glad we were there to lend a hand. The majority of the painting in the living room was done by the end of the day. The next day they tackled the hall and one wall of Anabelle's room. They'll have to figure out what we can do the next time we drive up there.
I noticed these horseshoe prints on the windowsill in Anabelle's room. Cute hey?
