Autumn decor
Fall showed up in Portland so my home needed a little bit of decorating.
Baby bump pictures
Courtney called me one sunny day in early November and asked if I'd take some pictures of her and Charlie for their Christmas cards and to officially document their pregnancy with "bump" pictures. I snapped cell phone pics and camera ones. They all turned out great!
Four years between visits is too long!
We finally got my mother to fly out for a visit. She arrived the week before Thanksgiving and was staying until the 2nd of December :0)
She practically lived in the kitchen puttering and cleaning and organizing. She did take a break to visit when our niece, Tiffany, stopped by. She also joined us during...
Courtney's baby shower!
One of the main reasons that we wanted Mom here was to attend this shower. The last time she was in town was for Courtney and Charles' wedding four years ago!
It was so good to see so many friends and family show up to bless Courtney and her baby Athena.
Our baby girl with three of her big sisters.
Here she is with her friends that will be supporting her in her adventures into mommy hood.
Then with these more mature women who want to be there for her too.
And finally with the mom's and Gramma who will always be a resource for her in the days, months and years ahead.
Cousins enjoying time together
Quinn getting scolded and mushed up by his Muumuu :0)
Mom enjoyed hanging out with Cherise's gang and getting over to Joylynn's place too.
Garrett had a welcome sign ready for Muumuu's visit.
Zoolights with just about everyone
On the night before Thanksgiving the zoo was open to Zoo Members to preview the lights. I'm so glad we got there when we did. It was packed! We got to ride the train for free that night. We went straight there to get in line and still were on the third train to leave the station. I love this tradition!

Babies and grammas and good friends, oh my! ;) as I am looking at this post again tonight my little bump is squirming its tiny squirms. I think this little one is excited to meet everyone and visit Oregon someday in the next couple years :)
