We planned on going to at least one museum while were were in the area. We decided on the Museum of Natural History. It is one amazing place! Animals from all over the world are preserved and on display for thousands of visitors to see every day… and it's free!
I'm not going to be commenting on all of the photos so just scroll through and enjoy a very small taste of our day in D.C.

It was a great day in spite of the drizzly weather. We drove back home through Historic Alexandria which has some familiar sounding street names.
