Krystle started at PCC before she entered the Navy. When she came back to Portland she enrolled once again. There were some quarters that she had to take light loads and some that she was able to take a heavier course load. It doesn't really matter how long it took. She had the perseverance to finish!
Harlan, Rylan, Hayden, and I sat through the Commencement Exercises in Friday, June 13th.
We sat in the upper level seats along the railing between the stairs. It was a great place to sit but we had no idea where Krystle was in that crowd of 900 something students.
The new president of PCC is from England and was a very entertaining commencement speaker.
We spotted her but were so far away, photography was difficult. You can recognize her though ;0)
Hayden took pictures with my phone and got a few good shots. Can you recognize Krystle on the big screen there?
Proud moment!
After Hayden's graduation ceremony we went to Burgerville. Krystle was willing to keep the tradition and so we headed over to the Lloyd Center location for a celebratory burger.
