Here are just a few candids and even more posed pictures of some of our time together with the extended fam!
Hayden, Cam and our nephew, Ari.
I loved spending time on the porch
The porch was the perfect place to soak in the heat and watch the wildlife and kids run around. It was very Cracker Barrel porch-esque minus the rocking chairs.
Our niece, Tiia, with Courts and the girlies.
The real Cracker Barrel porch
Rowie is a big fan of checkers. It was fun to see his strategizing. He's pretty smart!
Frostie Moose
Evie is an Aunty Kelly's girl. She loves loves loves being near her. It is fun sharing this grandparenting time with her. Kel met us at the ice cream place and took our boys home with her for the night. What I wouldn't give to be able to live just down the road :(
The Southern (used to be Northern) Cousins!
Dave, Michelle, Lindsey and Allie drove up from Georgia to get to see us. We had several shared meals and had a wonderful time with them.
We had another visitor the weekend before
Kelly's son, Jacob, came up for a long weekend after he graduated from his training down in Georgia. It was wonderful to have him around and Logan finally got to meet him and my brother, Dave, while we were there.
Kelly and her girl. Kurt and Jacob.
How many Finns (and Kiwis) does it take to figure out a camera?
Logan has a new camera from work and was wondering about some of the features on it. It's very similar to Kelly's so they were trying to determine if and how it could do something or other. Both sides of the paper Logan was looking at have information in different languages. There must be close to 50 of them!
More porch time
While the kids were having popsicles on the porch, Kel was doing what I do very often... taking pictures of flowers!
She's definitely my sister! Though she's a lot more flexible than I am. A lot younger too ;)
