Leaving on a jet plane

I'm still alive and kicking! And I can't believe it's been so long since I've updated this blog. Here is an entry that was supposed to be sent the evening before we left for D.C. Better late than never hey?
Make a wish
I'm wishing that we could take this vanload of kids with us to Virginia!
Alyssa's and Katie's song
Alyssa was always our sunshiny girl, very much like Katie is these days. I saw these two wall hangings at Marshall's and wished I had room in my suitcase to buy and bring them.
While we're gone we'll celebrate 34 years

Our anniversary is on a Sunday this year. We usually spend the day going out to eat and going to a movie and just hanging out together. It is a good thing to have a day of remembrance. There is a lot to remember and be thankful for!

Quick run to say Bye to the kids
The setting sun was making the tree tops glow.

The girls modeled their new swim suits. I think they are set for the rest of the summer. I got Wyatt one too but he was too busy to be out on the patio with us.
Joylynn and her fourth.
A brief visit and a belated birthday gift
I finally delivered the quilt I made for Naomi's birthday to her. It only sat at my house for 3 months waiting for the opportunity to get up to Goldendale. Naomi and Mike were here to bring their friend An-Mari to the airport for her flight back to Finland. It was wonderful to get to see her again too!
Har's sister, Anita, popped in for a quick hello and goodbye while I was there. What a whirlwind of getting ready.
Next stop? Virginia!!!
