Leap Day!

It's February 29th, Happy Birthday 3rd birthday to Sophia Criswell.
Look who came to see Gramma and Grampa !He is the sonshine of Lys and Logan's life.
"The Uncles" think he is pretty cool too.
Courtney's birthday party continued.....bowling at Interstate Lanes.
Har and I on a date...Actually Alyssa and Rowan were there too so not officially a date. Eating at Billy Heartbeats makes me feel like singing along with the oldies playing on the juke box.

End of February report

I'm thankful to say everyone is doing well right now.

I'm always thankful for my Friday friends, Kim and her grand-daughter, Isabella.

I'm thankful for Peanut Butter and peanut butter faces.

I'm also thankful that the two trips to ER this month were not super serious. Genevieve was slowed down somewhat by a bonk on the eyebrow (it is glued back together).
Mr Wyatt looks much better after his scary time with croup.

I'm also thankful that our son in law is part Irish so we have little Irish lads and lassies as grand children. You have to roll the "r" on that if you are going to be authentic. :)

Valentine's Day....the celebration continues

Happy "belated" Valentine's Day to all you sweethearts.

We celebrated Valentine's Day with just about our whole family being here.

It was Courtney's "Sweet Sixteen" birthday so we had to take her out for breakfast. Just Courts, her dad and I went to Shari's (it's her traditional place to go)

We followed that with a trip to the zoo. Cherise, Alyssa & Rowan, and Lalita & Simon were able to go with us.

Unbeknownst to Cherise there was someone else at the zoo waiting just for her. Kiel surprised her with a perfect Valentine proposal at the Elk Meadow. Pretty cool day so far.
We continued the celebration with Jess and Joylynn and the kids coming over for supper and we had a super fun dance party in the dining room, dancing to "Happy Birthday, Sweet Sixteen" by Niel Sedaka. Fun stuff. All in all it was a very nice day.

Courtney and Dad

Courtney and her main dance partner. He can sure move!

It's hard to get a picture of Genevieve these days. #1 she doesn't like having pictures taken because of the flash and she is just always on the move. I'm hoping with my new camera and the zoom feature I can get some great outdoor shots without her realizing the camera is there.

Danika Dolly what a precious Valentine!

Rowan is a cute little man....he "stole Mommy's heart" Gramma's too.

The boys. Simon is getting so tall. They weigh about the same.

Another group of boys. This time Hayden and Cam are with their cousin Sebastian. He spent most of the week with us because his dad got married. (see previous post)

And here are the "love-birds" They are two great kids... we kind of like them anyway. We wish you all God's best in the days, weeks, months and years ahead.

Mr and Mrs Quentin Hilman and some other folks

It was great having a camera again. I was able to take dozens of pictures of the grandkids this past week.

I also have many pictures that were taken at church that I need to put on the church blog.

But the beginning of this post is to say congratulations to our nephew Quentin and his new bride Annie. We were there to witness the marriage vows. It was a very beautiful ceremony with our nephew Clay officiating. So many friends and relatives were there too.
Annie and Quentin

Harlan and his other brother Darrel

Courtney and our girly-girl Genevieve

Uncle Hayden and Danika Dolly
My "best boys" Wyatt and Rowan

I am thankful for each and every one of my kids and grandkids. And did I mention that I'm glad I have a camera again :)

Five months and three months....the babies

Little Miss Danika turned 5 months old on Jan. 29th. We just happened to be at their house so have a picture of her. She is such a smiley little dolly.
Here is Rowan, he is 3 months old today! He is a sweet snuggly little guy. Too bad his momma starves him.....look at those hollow cheeks.
