Mother's visit continued: shopping, eating out and leaving :'(

Treating Gramma to our favorite Thai place

Courtney got us hooked on this restaurant years ago when she was a student at PCC. Monsoon is located on the corner of N Mississippi and N Skidmore.
We stopped at a couple of festive stores

Orchard's Supply Hardware and the Scandinavian Shop had so many lovely Christmas decorations! I only bought a couple of things. Some Astoria cinnamon toast and a little Santa and reindeer that turn around when a candle is placed beneath it.
Bob's Red Mill breakfast
Wanted Mom to choose some Bob's products to ship home with her. We went early so we could have breakfast there before we shopped.

We picked a nippy day to visit. Their fountain had ice on it!
Lloyd Center stop
The mall is going to be remodeled within the next couple of years. They started out great by investing in some new decorations :0) There are lit up Christmas trees along the lower level and large red and silver ornaments hanging down from the third floor. This was the first time I'd gotten here all season. It was so pretty!
We drove around to say farewell

Mom and I drove out to Joylynn's to say goodbye to them before Mom went back to Michigan.  I delivered the Christmas quilts I made for the kids while Muumuu got lots of licks from Lyla.

We stopped at Courtney & Charlie's to get some goodbye hugs from both of them.
Mom and our boys.
The next morning at PDX
Rylan and Hayden went with us to the airport. It was a treat to have them both along.

All too soon she had scoot to get through security.

It was so nice to have her here!
Mom, Don't let four more years go by before you come back!
