Fun at the Park

Lyssa and Courtney took the kids to Irving Park early in the week so the boys could get some school work done un-interrupted by the busyness of the "babies".
It was Alyssa's first time to see the renovation of the play area.

Katie will be joining them in running around very soon. In the meantime she was enjoying watching the activities from her stroller.
What would a trip to the park be without a roll down the grassy knoll.

Another day... another outing!
Waiting for everyone to be ready, Rowan is checking "the map".
Three year olds have such definite personalities!
The neighborhood is filled with wonderful things to discover.
Katie had to borrow her brother's cap so her little head stayed warm.

Flower Children!
Visitors!!!!
I wish Courtney had been in this picture too. She and Tiff and Alyssa have such a family resemblance. Tiffany is a first cousin of our kids' on my side and a second cousin once removed through Harlan's side of the family. So she and Katie here are first cousins once removed and 2nd cousins twice removed. Confused yet?
My mom is a GREAT-Grandmother or as she prefers Muumuu to my grandchildren and my brother's two, all of which live out on this coast. I'm hoping to get more pictures this weekend of her with the rest of them.

Wedding Project

I have finally gotten to get started on the bridesmaids' dresses, thanks to my Mom being here to help out with all the "little" things that need doing. She has been an extra hand in taking care of the kids and has pretty much taken over all cleaning jobs.

We have gotten to go shopping a couple of times but must factor in some more fun during the rest of her stay.

Still Life
My friend Kim makes fun of me taking pictures of random things but this looked like something that Cam would have drawn last year when he was studying Still Life drawings.
