The big move to the PNW again

Hayden the uncle and helper

What is a trip to the airport without a stop at Coffee People.

We were there to see Hayden off. Kiel and Cherise requested his help to move. He was going to lend a hand but he was also going to get to see some of the sights of San Diego.
He's getting to be quite comfortable with airline travel after his trip to Virginia a year ago and then again this summer and now this California adventure.

We didn't stay to watch his plane take off but I did get a picture of an Alaska airlines flight taking off as we went to the van. I also took a picture of the stairwell in the parking garage because we opted to use  the stairs instead of the elevator. Pretty cool hey?
Intro to Cali-culture

I'm sure it wasn't the first stop made after Hayden arrived but it was one of the things on the agenda while he was there. A trip to In-N-Out Burger. Har and I didn't get there when we visited but Hayden is more of a burger connoisseur than we are.
Hayden to to go to the beach at Coronado. But is here swimming at the pool at their apartment complex. This was one thing I loved when I was there. It's amazing at night with the other high rises towering above the 10th floor pool deck.

Henry got to introduce Uncle Hayden to Legoland California. It really is an incredible place. Hens is probably going to miss this place.
The final morning in San Diego, Anabelle snuggled in with a sleeping Hayden. She sure likes her uncles!
And then they were here!!!
They arrived in Portland around supper time.
They secured their moving truck and spent the night.
The next morning

I have IKEA plates, bowls, cups and cutlery for the grandkids. When Joylynn's kids visit Wyatt has the blue ones, Genevieve the purple, Danika the pink and Garrett the blue. At breakfast Anabelle used the pink plate and cup, however Henry chose his own combination of colors. He's not afraid to mix and match :)

There was time for a few snuggles and some pictures but then they had to hit the road. There were friends waiting for them at their new place ready to help unload the truck.

Henry rode in the moving truck with Kiel and Hayden had ridden in their vehicle from Californina to help keep Anabelle occupied during their drive. Cherise and Bellie were going it alone for this last leg.
A new adventure awaits them in Eastern Washington.
We joined them at their new place last weekend and I took lots of pictures but I'm saving them for another post  =)

Uncle Hayden is the A team all rolled into one awesome uncle. Whenever you need a hand, he'll be there. If you need your lawn mowed within two or three hours driving distance from Portland, he'll be there. If you're having a baby at the hospital and need an on call/live-in babysitter, he'll be there! If you need someone to go to legoland, swim with Henry, and snuggle Anabelle... If no one else can help... And if you can find him... Maybe you can "hire" uncle Hayden! Da da da dudadaaaah dada duh da dededadudaaah!
