Garrett's day out

Aunty Krystle planned a day of fun with Garrett
She picked him up from his house and let him wear her gloves and Ninja Turtle hat.
Surprise around the corner

I was waiting at the Starbuck's in the grocery store around the corner from J&J's house. I had treats waiting for Krystle and Garrett.
They caught a ride back into town with me and I dropped them off to take the MAX.

Garrett got to see the cranes at the big dig near Grampa's work. When their train arrived they took off to go to the...
Historic Belmont Firehouse

Every Wednesday there is free admission to the fire museum.

There are quite a few hands on exhibits that are fun for kids. Though Garrett kept referring to it as the fireplace.
The day out included a lunch stop

Billy Heartbeats is a wonderful place for little guy's and big one's appetites.

Krystle and her friend, John, let the boy play at the mall for awhile before Courtney called and asked  if we could take Garrett with us for the rest of the day.

They dropped him off where the four of us were lunching. Har walked back to work and we headed to Fred Meyer. When we got to our place Garrett played some, watched a bit of tv, and ate supper.
I had picked up a new footy pajama for him and it just happened to have a firetruck on it.
He put it on and was  ready for bed when Uncle Hayden and I drove him home.
I think he had plenty of adventures for one day.
