Torrential rain back east
This usually tiny trickle of a creek running through Logan and Lyssa's yard has become a real river. They've had quite the winter and now spring back there.
Here in P'town...
we enjoyed 2 days of summer like temps

The kids enjoyed an ice cream treat as an after school snack in the back of the pickup.
Trying out the new sprayer

When it gets over 80 degrees these kids want to play in water. I wish we had a pool for them but they seem happy with getting sprayed by the hose.

They each took a turn spraying. I kept miraculously dry :0)
Our rhodies in the setting sun
It's not often that I notice the front yard at sunset. I was outside at just the right time to catch that warm wash of light on a few of the rhododendron blooms.
I'm enjoying the beautiful moments when I can.
The Bible is true:
"The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever."
It also says:
"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven"
Sometimes I'm not thrilled with the weather or the season and various things I can not control. But I need to learn to embrace each season as it comes and release them as they go.
And be thankful in all of it.
