Picnicking in the back yard
On the first day of summer vacation for the grandkids we had them over to celebrate Garrett's birthday a day early so his dad could be there. Our sons-in-law, Jess and Charlie, are at their National Guard summer training for a couple of weeks. Jess wanted to be here for the party so we partied ;0)
Garrett's actual birthday is flag day so we had an All American barbecue with burgers, dogs and deviled eggs.
After dinner they jumped and jumped on the trampoline. Until it was time for presents, cake and s'mores. Then it was back to the boxing ring... or rather the trampoline again.
Garrett wanted a monster cupcake. It had a gum ball nose but that was not there for long!
Only one more sleep for the b'day boy and he gets to go to OAKS PARK for his long awaited birthday :D
