Little sleepy head
Alyssa snapped this picture of Evie sleeping in her carseat on the way down the mountain the other day. I love the lighting and textures and sweetness of this photo.

These traditional Christmas flowers have Halloween sleeves on their pots and some are adorned with metal stakes with black cats or spider webs on them. I guess these are officially Halloween poinsettias.
Tried to get a group photo
Kate would not sit for a picture with Lyssa, Rowan and Evie so I'm posting this picture I took of her earlier when she first put on her new "skirt".
Busy busy children
While Harlan and I enjoyed a rare Happy Hour date, Alyssa was creating a chalk track on the sidewalk in front of the house. The kids got home from school and ran and ran around the thing. So much fun for the girls and Rowan! Though he got a little exasperated with their silliness.
They slowed down and sat for a picture!
Having some one on one time
Rowan asked Alyssa to go back out and race with just him. She's almost always ready to jump into the fun and her kids LOVE IT!
Humoring her mother
Alyssa got a new haircut. She also bought me a new yard sign. I made her pose with it. She looks like was just crowned Mrs Autumn.
She will be celebrating her birthday in a few weeks.
Perhaps an official tiara is in her future.
