Boys night sleepover

Cute lil turkey
Danika's class made turkey headbands. They all looked so cute coming out of the school in a line. What they say about bridesmaid's dresses can apply to silly headgear as well. No one looks bad if everyone is wearing the same thing.
Wyatt had a birthday party to attend here in the neighborhood on Saturday, so just the girls got dropped off after school on Friday. Joylynn suggested that we take Garrett home with us and then bring both boys back after the party. Good idea!
Gar-bear is in the house!

He was super happy to be spending the night. He got his jammies on and then helped to pump up his new Thomas air-bed.
Snug as a bug
This boy who refused to keep a blanket on, hunkered down and pulled up the covers. He loved having a cozy nest of his own. No more porta-cribs for him...he's a big boy!
Good morning sunshine!

He wakes up smiley and hungry. We got dressed, he ate a banana and we took off. Harlan and I had plans to visit Freddy's early on Saturday. A stop at the McDonald's drive-thru and we brought breakfast with us to the seating area at Fred Meyer. We had a coupon for 99 cent lattes at Pete's Coffee. Love those kind of deals!
He wanted to play with lots of things and wanted to be out of the cart and running more than sitting in the seat. Good thing there were two of us to keep him corralled. He lasted longer than he has in the past but his attention span is not geared for browsing the aisles.

We have missed this guy. The uncles and aunties have too.
Gramma and Grampa were happy campers for the 27 hours he was with us!
We will have to do another just Garrett overnight soon.
