Friends and Family and a Farewell BBQ

Off to Boot...camp that is
This little guy marched from this display to the table at our farewell to Charlie barbecue.
A great group of people got together at his mom and dad's house to wish him well on his time in bootcamp and training school.

The Domina grill masters

Charles was the shish-kabob guy and his dad, Kieth, was the burger and hot dog guy.
It was the first barbecue of the season and they had all of the perfect ingredients. Potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, homemade pickles, jello salad, chips, burgers, kabobs, hotdogs, and rhubarb crisp!
YUM!

 It was perfect weather

It was nice to see so many people come by to say "see ya later".

Everyone enjoyed their time on the shadey deck and in the yard. I hope Charlie made some memories to keep him keepin' on during those long days in South Carolina.

We'll be keeping him in prayer and keeping Courtney busy and cheered up for the almost 6 months he'll be gone.

The only pic I have with his recruiter
Courtney and Sgt Standley's wife look like they could be related. Obviously the guys decided to dress alike :P We've been honored to get to have these Guardsmen around for the past few months.
This a a huge step for Courtney and Charlie and for their future.
God bless you, Sir Charles or as you'll be known for some time to come PFC Domina! (hey that rhymes) We'll be thinking about you and will be in touch.

HAPPY 17th MOLLY
On this day, seventeen years ago, Miss Molly Magdelena joined her family as the fourth and final daughter. She has been a delight since day one!
Happy B'day Moll. You are a blessing to everyone who has the privilege of knowing you.
