Krystle is introduced to Five Guys

Last Sunday evening we took advantage of the glorious sunny weather and ate outside at Five Guys before we went to pick up the kids. Krystle had never been there before. She was treated to an in the  shell peanut with 3 nuts in it.
Monday morning mayhem

I came out of Fred Meyer's on Monday and found out that someone or something had run into my van. The sidewall of my tire was damaged as well as the piece of the quarter panel behind the tire and the bottom of the passenger side door. The manager of the store and the head of loss prevention couldn't pinpoint any contact made with the van in looking at their surveillance video. I was parked under a tree and there were a lot of delivery trucks in the area and the camera moves to take in other areas of the parking lot so, unfortunately, we're out of luck finding out what happened. I had to buy a new tire as the damage went through the sidewall and the tire was leaking air. I still have to file a police report and get an insurance estimate on getting repairs done. Not like I don't have anything else to do!
Teacher appreciation
Danika and I finally finished the sewing project we started on "Take your Kid to Work Day". It was an apron for her teacher! Mrs Mease rides her bike to work every day so we used fabrics that looked like drawings of bikes on a blackboard with a coordinating fabric of crayons. Mrs Mease was very pleased with her gift.
Dental work in the UofO room

Wyatt was definitely dressed for his first time in the green chair at the dentist. He got one more quadrant  worked on, upper left this time. Only two more appointments and he'll be all fixed up.
Garrett is fun and goofy!

Aunty Krystle got to take Garrett to Lloyd Center while Joylynn and I were up at the school He had a fun time swiping and wearing Aunty's White Sox cap.
She got him a length of bubble wrap from Macy's. He LOVES bubble wrap!!! He also is still fascinated with his brother's bird mask which finally got brought into their house.
Hayden and his mini-me! Garrett's sense of humor is very much like Hayden's was at that age.
He makes us laugh. They both do.

Thank heaven for air conditioning

Officially Portland (at the airport) reached only 83 degrees today. Try telling that to my van traveling over the hill from the west side where our thermometer reached 92.  We took Canyon Road back into town as there was a tour bus accident causing huge traffic problems. It was beautiful back in the trees and Hayden always likes to see the views of the city and ohh and ahh at the gorgeous homes on the hill coming back into town.

With all this warm and sunny weather it's pretty easy to believe that the Rose Festival is right around the corner. I'm looking forward to seeing the ice rink at Lloyd Center transformed for the Rose Show.
