Calendar is filling up

Blooming at Lloyd Center

I'm happy that Lloyd Center has managed to maintain their landscaping budget.  It really makes it pleasant to walk around the outside of the mall.  The inside flowers and plants are really nice too.
When I was there yesterday I spotted a rose bush with one flower starting to open. The Lloyd Center rose is such a pretty coral color.

Danika's last week of school
The family advocate and the teacher were supposed to come to our house to bring Danika's portfolio and talk about her progress this year. They had to cancel, so today we brought home her years worth of projects.

As the year progressed they had various themes that they studied.  Each pocket in her portfolio is filled with projects that reinforced the concepts of the themes.  I just barely made a dent in looking through them.  I'm going to have to sit down and have Danika explain what was going on and what she learned.
She learned a lot this year.

 Graduation Day approaches
Monday is her graduation ceremony.  She has this  miniature cap and gown. So adorable!
They make a pretty big todo about finishing Head Start. But then some of these kids have been in school there for 3 to 4 years.  I could have enrolled Garrett in Early Head Start this past Fall.

Danika has 4 more days of school including the graduation day and a field trip.

The middle of next week is Harlan's 55th birthday.
At the end of the week Wyatt is in "The Music Man" at his school.
Then after Memorial Day we have the end of school for all of the kids, Hayden's graduation at PCC and Father's Day.

I don't know what the summer is going to look like... projects or staycation fun.
Looks like some time with Harlan and a calendar and budget book is in order.
