Last Splash

Rose Quarter fountain
Thank you Rose Quarter parking people for letting us park for free to play in the fountain on one of our last hot days of the season. It was 87 degrees when the kids got out of school so I thought we'd let them play in a fountain somewhere. Holiday Park would have been fun and close to Harlan's work but we opted for the Rose Garden Arena.

I took a picture of the kids running for the fountain and then zoomed in to catch a closer look.

Three of these kids love water! Garrett likes baths but is a little leery of random spouts of water coming out of the ground. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. There was one other little boy playing while his mom took pictures. There was very little foot traffic through the area, which was nice. The kids could run around and play with abandon.
With me walking around with the camera trying to keep track of all 4 of the kids and Hayden an Cameron sitting nearby also keeping an eye on things, Garrett was free to run around in and out of the fountain.
Two of my favorite pictures
In one picture I think the refections in the water was so cool and in the other I like that Wyatt is hopping around with Genevieve behind him jumping to the rhythm of the fountain with the Convention Center towers in the background.

Water, water, everywhere

Garrett's footprints leading away from the water.
 One more scenery picture
The green will soon be turning to gold, orange, yellow and red so I'm happy we had this moment to enjoy summer temps for another day.
That was fun!
We took the elevator back to the parking garage and took off for home.
I just heard that we may have warm weather again next week.
We may be back here. Gotta grab those opportunities when they are presented.
