Grampa and Gramma's land of make-believe

Puppet theater

An anonymous  group of people got together and bought a puppet theater and puppets for us to have for our grandchildren to play with at our house. It's going to be a wonderful addition to our things to keep them entertained.
The puppets arrived on Christmas Day but the puppet stage got picked up last night. Genevieve and Danika couldn't wait to put on a play for us. Garrett interacted with the puppets, tried to climb over the front of the stage and then got into the act himself.

They did a two act play with different characters and then had...
A curtain call!
 Fun evening performance.
All of our performers
 The royal family
Cop and Robber
All of the rest of the critters.
Gar-bear is one of my favorite "critters"

Garrett is here for a few days. He has a bad cold and has a hard time sleeping because of a cough. But it doesn't seem to keep him down during the day even though his head is stuffed up and his nose is running. I feel bad for him.
He is bunking in his Thomas bed and using tons of words and sentences to communicate. He cracks us up with his sense of humor. Such a jokester! It's gonna be a fun rest of the week.

Really cute puppets and stage :)
Henry has a goofy sense of humor too.
But he doesn't understand jokes... he was gagging the other day and I said "Are you ok" he stopped and said "It's just a joke!" I told him that was not a funny joke :P
