Birthday party for the boy

Gar-bear turned two!

Garrett's birthday was yesterday but we are celebrating it today.  He was pretty interested in the Great-grandson card he got from Muumuu. He liked the frog sticker she put on the back too.

Partying at McD's

What a great day to meet up at the McDonalds closest to Jess and Joylynn's house. We decided that 3 o'clock was a good time to be there as we figured it wouldn't be as busy as lunch or dinner time.  We were right! It was great.
Opening presents with Mama

He made short work of the wrapping paper and gift bags. He was excited about every thing he opened and wanted to play with each thing right away.
He got some great new clothes, a book, a ball, some balloons, bubbles, other age appropriate toys and a Sit and Spin. The latter needed assembly. Krystle took on the task.

Courtney tried to teach Garrett how to use it.  He'll get the hang of it but for now he was more interested in getting back to the play place.
Playing is the best
The Kids' Clubhouse didn't have a ball to use so when Garrett got one for his birthday it was perfect! He jumped around while Wyatt shot baskets.
He has absolutely no fear of heights. He climbed to the top most area and played with all of the wheels and such that are up there for kids to enjoy.
We've been to this place before with Alyssa and her kids.  I think it's one of the nicest ones around.

The Wacky Ball scoreboard was correct.  It was a major score in FUN. The kids all left with rosy cheeks and I'm sure they'll sleep well tonight.  Garrett will be in his new Elmo pjs and sleeping in his race car bed at his house.
Happy 2nd Birthday Buddy! It was great partying with you!!!

Daisy a Day
I love daisies.  We had daisies at our wedding, almost 33 years ago.
I also love the song "Daisy a Day" from 1973.

"I'll give you a daisy a day, dear
I'll give you a daisy a day
I'll love you until the rivers run still
And the four winds we know blow away"

I was just thinking the same thing. An excellent 2 year old celebration. Yummy food, room to run (and jump), and free to just go go go! :)

Also I like your daisies :)
