Life cycle of a cat and other things

Science Genevieve style
Genevieve loves cats.  Unfortunately the only one of ours that lets her anywhere near it is our outdoor one. She'd love to have a kitten.  A cute orange tabby. She draws pictures of cats and reads about cats and has stuffed cats. Here she chose to depict the life cycle of a cat for her science lesson.
Hungry hungry hippos
Hayden went around getting everyone's orders for a run to the Border. I think he and Cam were pretty hungry. But before I took his iPod and went in to order he said he'd take whatever I wanted to get for him.  He's a good boy.

Henry and Anabelle!

Henry and Belle-belle are here! They had breakfast in the den while the big kids got ready for school. It's so fun to have them around.  Anabelle is doing so much more for herself. She has a bunch of teeth and is still cute as a little bug.

Mall Madness
We went to the mall early, before any of the stores opened. It's the best time to go with kids.  You can let them run and play quite freely.
There is a small area with ride on vehicles near the glass elevator.
Danika told us how to get to the play place.  She said we had to find the chocolate milk machine and then we'd see it. She was right! There is a vending machine that has nothing but chocolate milk in it. And it's just before you get to the play place.

Everyone had fun. Anabelle practiced her standing and crawling.  She even did some sliding.

Birthday upside down cupcakes
Henry chose what kind of cupcakes they were going to bring to Grampa. Pineapple upside-down cupcakes! One of Grampa's favorites.
We brought one with us to the mall and Har met us there.  Henry was happy to present the cupcake. We coralled the kids with a couch and chairs and stollers and had a nice little coffee break.
Our Cherise is quite the little baker!
