Focus on grandkiddos

The Virginia girls
Katie wearing her mom's "awesome" t-shirt. She's showing off her clean teeth.
Evie is just starting to get teeth.  She's crawling and pulling up on stuff. The exersaucer is Alyssa's  "Mother's Helper" keeping Evelyn in one place for a bit so things can get done.  This picture is from my sister Kelly. Kel has an exersaucer too, but hers has fun toys attached. It gives Evie's mom a chance to pitch in with projects that Kurt and Kel are doing.
Goofy guy
Last night he was wearing Harlan's tennis shoes. This morning he put on my slippers.  Half of the day he's clomping around in someone else's shoes. The goofy thing it that he takes his own shoes off at any opportunity. Silly kid.
Twins?... no, but they look like it
I was asked again this week if Genevieve and Danika were twins. I know it's because their hair color and style is the same but Genevieve refuses to let me cut her hair short again. It is so thick it's hard to get a comb or brush through it thoroughly.  Danika's is a different texture and brushes easily.

Today I had them working on a paint with water craft. Keeping them busy isn't hard. There are so many things they like to do.  My desire is for them to do things that don't make a mess and that's what takes planning.
The Eastern Washington kids
Henry scored big time recently. His grandpa Steve gave him lots of Fisher Price stuff that he had kept that used to belong to Henry's dad.  Kiel had quite the collection! It's wonderful that Henry and Anabelle can play with these wonderful "vintage" toys.
Grandpa Steve also made this rocking horse for Henry. It too is so well made that it can become an heirloom. These two munchinkins are going to be packin' up and headin' out. They are going to be our westernmost West Coast grandkids as they move to Southern California. SanDiego to be exact. Kiel has a new job down there. And I figure a four hour trip whether by car now or by plane in the future is still a four hour trip to see these guys.
Cell phone pictures like this one and Skype are going to have to keep us in touch.

Toys R Us Aunt

Doesn't every kid want their parent, aunt or uncle to work at Toys R Us? I know these kids want to visit Aunty Coco at work all the time.  She has brought a couple of them with her to pick up her check or when she's needing to run errands.

I'm really happy that she has something to occupy her time. And they seem to like her there. She started out being a seasonal employee and they kept her on.

Toys R Us kids grow up to be good workers at Toys R Us.
Way to be a valuable employee, Courtney!

Very cute. You need a feature of Wy and Ro now :)

It very cute when Henry feels like sharing with Anabelle. I should get a picture of him giving her a ride on his 4- wheeler, he walks beside it, pushing the button to make her go around the yard :)

Yes, I'll have to get you a shot or two of my boy :)

I really liked when Katie got big enough for Ro to share with her. Now she's getting big enough to actually play and they go tearing around the house together. They get into arguments and there are shouts and tears but most of the time they have fun :)

Those Reardon girls really do look like twins. What's their height difference?

Genevieve is almost 4 inches taller than Danika and Wyatt is only 3 inches taller than G'vieve. They are all stretching.

TIme for back to school clothes shopping. I'm hoping to get away with capris and shorts for the first bit and then buy pants when the weather starts getting colder.
