Haircut for G'vieve and Henry's present

New hairstyle for school
Genevieve  asked if she could get her hair cut short again and I was thrilled to take her to Great Clips.

I should have run a brush through it before we left the house but it gave the stylist a real good idea of the texture and thickness of Genevieve's hair. She got a shampoo to give her the totally pampered experience.

Her hair was pretty long and it's not as short as I would have wanted but it's really cute and will be much easier for her to manage. It's a great new style for the start of 1st grade.
Starbucks treat
She looks so much more grown up!
 Yum!

Genevieve still looks like her Momma did at 6 years old.
We got to spend a little bit of time with Joylynn yesterday before we brought the kids home with us. We'll have to go out for supper at their place one of these weekends.  The kids would love it and we would too.
Henry's Birthday Barbecue

Harlan and I bought Henry a toy barbecue for his birthday.  It's been wrapped and sitting in their garage since we were in Walla Walla in July.
He finally got to see it and both of the kids are enjoying it.
Henry, you'll have to make Grampa and me burgers when we come to see you in San Diego. Thanks for sharing your new toys with your sissy.

Totally random photo post
Cam was closing one eye because of the bright sunshine.  He was not winking. Though one could get the impression that he was winking at somebody by looking at this picture.
Happy Happy Day for me
Since the remodel of the Walmart Super Store in Wood Village I have not wanted to go there.  They removed their fabric section at that time. On Hayden's birthday we were trying to find a couple of things and tried a couple of other stores and ended up heading to Walmart. They didn't have what we were looking for but what they did have was a FABRIC SECTION! It was reinstalled! I guess people making a fuss paid off.
